Hello world!
I’m a complete noob when it comes to the blogging world. I’ve been reading a few, though, and got it in my head that maybe I might have something to offer the awesome community of wow-bloggers that has emerged in the last couple years. I have *no* idea what that will be, so it will be a surprise to both of us. :p
Most everyone that hangs out with me know me as Nyssa. My Nyssa-form is a level 70 Night Elf Combat-Swords Rogue on the Kul Tiras Server. I’ve been playing WoW for about a year and a half now, and Nyssa is my original character. The “Ack! Vanish!” comes from a recent respec that left me devoid of any talent points in the Subtlety tree. (Note to self: rediscover ‘distract’) Although most of my musings will be about my rogue and rogue-related activities, you’re not likely to find much hard theorycrafting here. I kinda glaze over when the numbers start crunching, so I prefer to leave that to folks better suited to it. I’m not, however, ashamed to follow their good advice. Or pass it on to you.
Every now and then you’ll see me write about my alt, Saraih the Tanky Pally. Mostly missing her stealth button. (Of course, every so often Nyssa goes looking for her ‘Holy Light’ key, too) I’ll add in some Armory Links later, but I’m writing this while the server is down, so armory is kaput, too. When I do, you’re sure to notice the vast difference in gear quality, Saraih is my fill-in character, obviously. Poor girl, always the bridesmaid..
I have a few thank yous to toss out. My hubby and questing partner, always nice to have a pocket holy priest, and it was his idea to play WoW in the first place. Kestrel, over at Kestrel’s Aerie, my BFF from my Asheron’s Call days, gave us our start in WoW and encouraged me to start this blog. And, of course, all the folks from Guardian, and my friends in Are we Done Yet.
